## Treasurer’s Report 

For the 12 month period ending 31 March 2024 

## **Income Statement** 

Income £4,092 Expenditure (£3,912) Net income £180 

The PTFA has raised significant funds during the period. The majority of funds have been reinvested in the school through the running of events and contributions towards school trips. Significant contributions are noted below; 

- £700 to reduce the overall cost of school trips 

- £350 for end of year inflatables 

- £320 to purchase ovens to teach cookery 

New initiatives have been entered into. The clothes recycling bin was installed during the period. This opened up a passive income stream for the PTFA resulting in £326 of income. Thank you to all parents and members of the community who have donated unwanted clothing. We will continue to promote this initiative in the year ahead. 

In January, we engaged with Newcastle Eagles. We received a small contribution form each ticket sold. The Eagles also allowed us to hold a tombola and run games within the Vertu Arena on the night of the game. Thank you to parents and families who purchased 71 tickets. In total the event raised £464.
