Ob"ectives and activities
To help the relief of sickness of children suffering from neuroblastoma by
relieving the needs of children SLrffering from the disease, their families
and their carers. To help fund research and education programmes to
help improve the all round treatrnent of neuroblastoma and to raise
awareness of the disease.

The trustees have complied with their duty to public benefil in accordance
with th8 guidance published by the Charity Commission.
The grant made to Neuroblastoma UK in the year of £6,000 (2024:
£5,500} is an example of direct public benefit, whith helps enable the
research into drugs and also makes these drugs available to UK NHS
patients.
The charity has provided public benefrt by donating £4.352 (2024.. £928}
to local families with children that are suffering with Neuroblastoma to
help improve their lives.

Summary of the main
achlovements of th8 charity
durlng the year
The main achlévements in the year for the charity was the running of the
shop as the main income stream in orderto generale funds, as well a5
raising awareness and support in the community. Overall this has helped
the charity raise £39,243 (2024: £41.940).
During the year the charity has helped families with children Suffering
with neuroblasloma by providing them with much needed family day trips,
toys and as well as funding with accessibilty conversions.
In the year the charity held two main funding 8vents which were the Gala
Ball and the Charity Golf Event; generating income for the charity.

charity's pollcy on reserves
The financial statements show reserves of £12,694 {2024: £{5,744)) with
net income of £18,43812024'. net expenditure of £4.729). Reserves have
increased during the year as the result of holding successful
fundraising events.

Positive reserves are as a direct result of other charity shops in the area
dosing down and the SUGGessful fundraising events in the year.

During the yèar the ¢harity received donations and gift aid of £32.508
{2024'. £23,758). The chartly generated funds of £39,243 {2024.' £41,940)
through the shop. The charity incurred costs of £10,104 (2024.. £3,147} in
generating funds and governan￿ costs of £63,559 (2024.. £60,142). Thp
charity made donations of £10,352 {2024'. £6,648) leaving net current
assels of £1,397 (2024.. net current liabilities £18,223) to cary forward to
next year.

This year the charity has Gontinued the Gollaboration with Neuroblastoma
UK and the Bradley Lowery Foundation to fund a medical research
programme into neuroblastoma at the University of Southamplon. Dr
Juliet Grey and her Golleagues are looking at antibody immunotherapy for
children ¥Mth neurcblastoma, a fomi of trealment which relies on cells of
the body's own immune system to kill cancer ￿lIs.

harity (Niamh's Next Step charity number 1150081) as at 161 July 2022. Niamh's Next Slep CIO continues
the good work of the chartty within the corporate structure.

charity {"the Trust.) for the year ended 3010612025.
Responsibilities and
basls of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of th8
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
('Ihe Acr).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
und8r section 145 ofthe 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5){b> of the Act.
