To help the relief of sickness of children sufferSng from neuroblastoma by
relieving the need5 of children suffering from the disease, their families
and their c8rers. To help fund research and education programmes to
help improve the all round treatmonl of neuroblastoma and to raise
awareness of the disease.

The trustees have complied wrth their duty to public benefrt in accordance
with the guidance published by the Charity Commission.
The grant made to Neuroblastom8 UK in the year of £5,500 {2023.'
£3,500) is an example of direct publlc benefrt, which helps enable the
research into drugs and also makes these drugs available to UK NHS
patients.
The charity has provlded public benefit by donating £928 (2023.. £6,009)
to local familie$ with children that are suffedng with Neuroblasloma to
help improve their lives.

Summary ofthe main
achlevements of the charity
during the year
The main achievements in the year for the charity was the running of the
shop as Ihe main income Stream in order to generate funds, as well as
raising awareness and support in the communty. Over811 this has helped
the charty raise £41,940 (2023: £52,051).
During the year the tharity has helped families with children Slfftering
with neuroblastoma by providing them with much needed famity day trips.

net expenditure of £4.729 (2023.. net income of £7,224). Reserve$ have
redu¢ed during the year as the charity continue5 to use funds on

Durfng the year the charty received donations and gift aid of £23,758
(2023: £30,946). The charity generated funds of £41,94012023: £52,021)
through the shop. The tharity incurred costs of £3,147 {2023= £3.188) in
generating funds and govemance costs of £60,14212023.' £68,813). The
charity made donations of £6,648 (2023: £10,179) leaving net current
liabilities of £18.223 (2023.. £16,958) to cary fotwatd to next year.
This year the charty has conlinued Ihe collaboration with Neuroblasloma
UK and Ihe Bradlèy Lowery Foundation to fund a medical research
programme into neuroblasloma at the University of SoLrthampton. Dr
Juliel Grey and her colleagues are looking at antibody immunotherapy for
children with neuroblastoma, a form of treatment wh￿h relie5 on cells of
the body's own immune system to kill cancer Trlls.
