Members of the community have<br>regularly commented upon how much<br>money they have saved by being able to<br>borrow rather than buy.<br>In April 2023, SHARE: Flitwick and Ampthill<br>ran our first Repair Café. This was very well<br>received by the community. We have now<br>run a total of 3 Repair Cafés with 73 items<br>looked at and a repair rate of 66%. That is<br>nearly 50 items saved from landfill so far!<br>In Autumn 2023, SHARE: Flitwick and<br>Ampthill was lucky enough to be offered free<br>storage and operating space by Flitwick<br>Town Council. The trustees moved the loan<br>items from the existing operating premises<br>of Flitwick Village Hall to The Rufus Centre,<br>Flitwick. The Library of Things now operates<br>between 10-12 on Saturdays from the Rufus<br>Centre.|
