## **Structure** 

Holbeach Children’s Club is a CIO Foundation 

## **Management** 

Holbeach Children’s club has no paid staff. It had 8 volunteers during the period in addition to the trustees. 

## **Year in review – activities, performance, and financial review** 

- We decided, in conjunction with St Laurence, to renovate the basketball courts in the rear of St Laurence church. 

- We created and shared a crowdfunder campaign, raising over £813 for the renovation of the basketball courts. 

- We hired a contractor to repair the fence around the basketball court and cut back plants. 

- In January 2025 we moved our classroom from St Laurence’s to St Dunstan’s College. 

- We expanded from one classroom to 3, offering a reduced timetable but running simultaneous lessons. 

- 2 additional coding volunteers were recruited, given enhanced DBS checks and given safeguarding training. 

- We recruited youth volunteers from St Dunstan’s College to help in the coding classes, under supervision of the adult volunteers. 

- Funding was received from BNY. 

- More computing equipment was purchased as needed to replace items and to top-up our equipment to accommodate larger class numbers. 

- We started a boardgames club to run alongside the coding classes, also to be run by volunteers. 



- We purchased games for the boardgames club. 

- We continue to purchase merchandise to promote the club and raise funds. 

- We held social events for the volunteers at the end of each half term. 

- We attended and had a charity presence at a local community hub event. 

- We updated our website with fresh details, offering interesting courses.
