Over 3 billion people around the world don't have access to the internet. Without it children and women cannot access education or life changing opportunities. For refugees or those fleeing conflict or abuse, connectivity is essential for their safety.
Objects: The Objects Of CIO Are:1) To Advance The Education Of The Public In Economically And Socially Disadvantaged Communities In Such Parts Of The World As The Trustees Shall Determine Through The Provision Of Items, Services And Grants Of Financial Assistance To Charities And Not For Profit Voluntary Organisations Working To Assist Such Communities, Designed To Assist In Facilitating Access To Internet Connectivity And Appropriate Digital Skill-Based Learning To Enable Access To Educational Opportunities And The Development Of New Skill Sets To Improve Conditions Of Life.2) For The Public Benefit To Relieve The Needs Of Homeless People, Refugees And Those Displaced By War, Civil Unrest And Natural Disaster Through The Provision Of Free Mobile Devices Which Provide Communication Essential To Accessing Information, Advice And Emergency Assistance With Food, Clothing, Accommodation, Transport, Health, Employment And Immigration And To Maintain Contact With Family Members From Whom They Have Become Separated.
