Activities
NATECLA is the national forum and professional organisation for teachers of English for adult speakers of other languages (ESOL) and community languages in the UK. We provide high quality training for teachers through conferences, webinars, online forums and a journal. We provide expert advice to government bodies and other agencies, and campaign to promote ESOL and community languages.
Objects: To Advance All Aspects Of Education And Training In English For Adult Speakers Of Other Languages For The Public Benefit.in Furtherance Of This The Charity Will, In Particular But Not Exclusively, Provide A Professional Forum For:- Teachers And Those Organising Provision Of English To Adult Speakers Of Other Languages (Hereinafter Known As Esol) Resident In The U.K.- Teachers Of Community Languages.- Others Concerned With Multi-Lingual Language Issues In Post-16 Education.
