Opera&onal report for CentreStage, Shifnal 2024/25
Ac&vi&es have con&nued on Monday evenings during school terms in St Andrews church with the young people con&nuing in 3 groups, minis, juniors and seniors. All the young people, including some with special needs, were enthusias&c as usual and learnt new skills which we hope will benefit them now and in the future, not least confidence and team working, as well as performing and technical theatrical skills.
The young people were assisted in puIng on a Summer Showcase complete with theatrical sound and ligh&ng, enjoyed by all who took part, and watching parents, friends and guardians. We par&cipated in the Shifnal Carnival with our own float. We also put on a Christmas Show which was a mini-showcase, again enjoyed by all.
We experienced some leadership challenges during the year resul&ng in the appointment of new team leaders and assistants. Safeguarding was not compromised at any &me.
