Ta�nton Minster �Ga�a E�hibition�incl�ding leading a disc�ssion gro�p. Joint e�ents �ith Transition To�n Ta�nton to promote participation in the To�n Co�ncil election. Ma� - Joint e�ent �ith Ta�nton Clothes S�ap incl�ding sho�ing the film �fashion reimagined�. Follo��p ne�t steps meeting �ith Ta�nton To�n Co�ncil. And also held a �orkshop to share peoples tho�ghts and possible f�t�re actions. Oc��be r - began o�r �ard based p�blic engagement programme in partnership �ith Ta�nton To�n Co�ncil at Green�a�Rec, French Weir Park and Come�tro�e Ch�rch. The Oil Machine film sho�at Q�antock ECo and follo��p �orkshop, �here �e agreed to de�elop a programme to help raise the en�ironmental and ecological iss�es d�ring the election �ear 2024. Raised the iss�e of climate change at the local meeting of Instit�tion of Ci�il Engineers �ith nearl�40 members in attendance. S�pported the �ork of the C�rr�Ri�al Parish Co�ncil in the �ork the�ha�e done to e�plore home heating options. N��e�be�- �e held o�r t�o sponsored e�ents �ith Ta�nton Literar�Festi�al �ith nearl�70 people coming along to listen to t�o inspirational speakers. We also held an energ�ad�ice training e�ent deli�ered b�the Centre for S�stainable energ�to 15
people. This pro�ided a so�nd basis for ha�ing informed con�ersations �ith the p�blic seeking help and ad�ice. We commenced o�r collaborati�e �ork �ith Bridg�ater and Ta�nton College Arts and Design St�dents on the �f�t�re �orlds e�hibition�to be sho�n in Jan�ar�2024. Dece�be�- �e started o�r �energ�matters� programme f�nded b�National Grid�s Comm�nit� Matters F�nd. The programme is based at Priors�ood Comm�nit�Centre and co�ers the Ta�nton Area. Details of o�r o�treach acti�ities can be fo�nd he�e. The initial engagement is helping �s to e�ol�e the 2024 programme incl�ding: Foc�sed on a campaign to highlight climate, ecolog� and social j�stice matters d�ring 2024 in the conte�t of the general election. Energ�Matters actions to s�pport indi�id�als and comm�nities. Plan to b�ild on the energ�matters programme f�nded b�National Grid �hich �ill end in March 2024, incl�ding the promotion of the �redress �o�cher�scheme to q�alif�ing indi�id�als. Bring for�ard comm�nit�garden projects �ith Somerset Comm�nit�Gardening. Whilst �e �ere �ns�ccessf�l for f�nding for t�o projects from the H�bb�b f�nding Programme �e plan to seek grant f�nding from other programmes.
