Cyflwyniad | Introduction
Mae’r Cylch Meithrin wedi ei lleoli ar gampws Ysgol Llangynnwr. Mae’n cynnig addysg Gymraeg fforddadwy a gofal plant i deuluoedd yn yr ardal i blant o 2 flwydd oed hyd at oedran ysgol.
Mae wedi ei gofrestru gyda Arolygaeth Gofal Cymru (AGC/CIW) fel Gofal Dyddiol Sesiynol ar gyfer plant 2 a 3 mlwydd oed yn feunyddiol rhwng oriau 09:00 a 15:00. Mae’n rhedeg 3 gwasanaeth gwahanol, sesiwn foreuol, sesiwn yn y prynhawn a sesiynau drwy’r dydd, a thrwy hynny, mae’n cynnig hyblygrwydd i deuluoedd yn yr ardal gyfagos.
Mae’r Cylch yn dilyn egwyddorion y Cwricwlwm I Gymru ble mae plant yn dysgu drwy chwarae. Mae’r Cylch yn cynnig cyfleuon cyfartal i bob plentyn sydd o fewn yr ystod oedran i ddod i’r cylch, heb ystyried eu hanghenion, lliw, hil, iaith, crefydd, safle cymdeithasol na sefyllfa deuluol.
Oherwydd ei leoliad ar safle’r ysgol, mae’r Cylch yn ffodus ei fod yn medru darparu gwasanaeth unigryw i’r ardal; gwasnaeth cofleidiol mewn perhtynas â’r ysgol, sy’n sicrhau profiad trosiannol llyfn i’r plant sy’n dechrau yn yr ysgol.
Cylch Meithrin Llangynnwr is located on site at Ysgol Llangynnwr. It provides affordable Welsh language education and childcare to families in the area for children from 2 years old through to school age.
It has been registered with the Care Inspectorate for Wales (CIW) as Sessional Day Care for 2-yearold children and 3-year-old children on a daily basis between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00. It runs 3 different services, morning session; afternoon sessions and all day sessions, thus providing flexibility for families in the surrounding area.
The Cylch follows the principles of the New Curriculum for Wales where children learn through play. The Cylch offers an equal opportunity for all children who are within the appropriate age range for attending, regardless of needs, colour, race, language, religion, social class or family situation.
Due to its location on the school site, the Cylch is fortunate that it can provide a unique service to the area; a wrap around service in partnership with the school, which ensures a smoother transitional experience for children starting school.

Mae’r Cylch yn Sefydliad Corfforedig Elusennol (SCE) ac yn aelod o’r Mudiad Meithrin. Mae’n dibynnu yn llwyr ar grantiau, ffïoedd y plant, codi arian a rhoddion. Mae’n cyfloig 3 aelod o staff ac yn cael ei gefnogi gan ymddiriedolwr o 4 person. Mae pob un aelod o’r staff wedi’u hyfforddi i safon uchel iawn ac yn parhau i ddilyn rhaglen o ddarpariaeth broffesiynol barhaus.
Mae’r Cylch Meithrin yn darparu gwasanaeth o safon uchel drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg, sy’n adlewyrchu natur y gymuned, gyda’r gobaith y bydd pob plentyn yn parhau i ddilyn addysg cyfrwng Cymraeg ar ôl iddyn nhw adael y Cylch.
Mae’r Cylch yn bwysig iawn i ddatblygiad y plant ac yn holl bwysig o ran cynnig y dechra gorau posib, boed hynny yn ieithyddol, yn gymdeithasol neu yn ymwneud â’u lles.
The Cylch is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (ICO) and a member of Mudiad Meithrin. It relies entirely on grants, children’s fees, fundraising and gifts. It employs 3 members of staff and is supported by a trustee of 4 people. All members of staff have been trained to a very high standard and continue to pursue a programme of continuous professional development.
The Cylch Meithrin provides a high-quality service through the medium of Welsh, which reflects the nature of the community, with the hope that each child will continue to pursue Welsh-medium education after they leave the Cylch.
The Cylch is very important to children’s development and key to offering them the best start, be that linguistically, socially or regarding their welfare.

Nod y cylch meithrin yw cynnig gofal blynyddoedd cynnar ac addysg trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg i bob plentyn o ddwy flwydd oed i oedran ysgol. Mae chwarae'n sylfaenol i ddysgu plant ac i wella eu Datblygiad Corfforol, Emosiynol, Ieithyddol, Cymdeithasol a Deallusol.

Cylch aims to offer early years care and education through the medium of Welsh to every child from age two until school age.
Play is fundamental to children’s learning and to enhance their Physical, Emotional, Linguistic, Social and Intellectual Development.
The Cylch will ensure:

The Welsh Government grant is issued towards providing milk for the children. The Carmarthenshire Council grants were won on the basis enhance the provision at the Cylch and will hopefully be used towards a cabin, and the Wider Plan grant

As an ICO fundraising is a fundamental part of income generation for the Cylch. Here are the fundraising activities for 2022/2023, which raised £1368.30

Mae'r arian hwn yn cael ei wario ar adnoddau ar gyfer y Cylch a'r plant.
Gyda'r nod o ddefnyddio mwy o wasanaethau arlein, mae'r Cylch wedi creu cyfrif PayPal, gan alluogi rhieni, teuluoedd ac ati i anfon arian ar gyfer codi arian. Yn ogystal, mae'r Cylch wedi derbyn cefnogaeth gan fusnesau lleol gyda gwobrau am y raffl.

Joint event with Cylch Tywi
The joint event was an event that was organised in collaboration with Cylch Tywi, with various activities including Siani Sionc at a park in Carmarthen. This generated a profit of £239.50.
This money is spent on resources for the Cylch and children.
With aim of utilising more online services, the Cylch has created a PayPal account, enabling parents, families etc to send money for fundraising. In addition, the Cylch has received support from local businesses with prizes for the raffle.

Llwyddiannau Eleni | Achievements this year:
Mae Cylch Meithrin Llangynnwr yn falch iawn o fod wedi ennill 2il wobr am y Cylch Meithrin yn Neorllewin Cymru. Ac, roedd yr Ymddiriedolwyr yn falch o fod wedi ennill 1af am yr Ymddiriedolwyr gorau.
Eleni mae’r cylch wedi darparu gofal ag addysg o ansawdd ardderchog i lawer o blant rhwng 2 a 4 blwydd oed, dyma drosolwg o’r niferoedd.
Cylch Meithrin Llangynnwr are very proud to have won 2[nd] award for the Cylch Meithrin in South West Wales. And, the Trustees were proud to have won 1[st] for the best Trustees.
This year the Cylch have delivered excellent education and care to many children between 2 and 4 years old, here’s an overview of the numbers.

The Cylch was a big part of the Urdd Eisteddfod celebrations, with children taking part in the singing, and Miss Eleri and Miss Gaynor taking part in the Urdd Race at the Botanic Gardens.

Hyfforddiant Staff:
Bellach, mae'n ofynnol i bob aelod o staff feddu ar gymwysterau gwaith chwarae os ydynt yn gweithio gyda phlant dros 3 oed. Mae nawr gan bob aelod o staff gymhwyster lefel 3 mewn gwaith chwarae.

A trip was also arranged to the National Botanic Gardens, which gave the children a chance to sing and meet Dewin from Mudiad Meithrin.
Staff Training:
All staff are now required to hold play work qualifications if working with children over 3. All staff are qualified with a level 3 play work qualification.
