We hold monthly support meetings
attended mostly by kinship carers, creating
an environment where attendees can meet
others in similar circumstances, share
experiences and get peer support and
advice.
We also have campaigning points that we
lobby policy makers and influencers on.
In the period we lobbied the Lord
Chancellor on the reporting restriction
regulations rules.
As members of the Kinship Care Alliance
(KCA), we attend regular meetings with
policy makers and influencers, including
DfE; in March 2025 we were asked to
address Janet Daby, the Children’s
Minister.
