Sakeenah Foundation is committed to representing, supporting and empowering British Muslim women which we seek to maintain in a manner that preserves both our Muslim identity and our identity as a woman.One of the Sakeenah Foundation's purposes is to provide support and after-care for victims of domestic abuse in the UK. We aim to raise awareness about domestic abuse in the Muslim community.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) The Relief Of Need Of Persons, In Particular Women In The Muslim Community, Who Are Victims Or At Risk Of Domestic Abuse And Violence By Providing Advice And Support To Such Persons.(2) To Promote Equality And Diversity In Particular With Reference To Muslim Women By:i. The Elimination Of Discrimination Of Muslim Women On The Grounds Or Race Or Gender.ii. Advancing The Education And Skills Of Muslim Women To Enable Them To Play A More Equal Role In Society.iii. Raising Awareness Of Equality And Diversity Issues; Andiv. Promoting Activities To Foster Understanding Between People From Diverse Backgrounds With An Emphasis On Muslim Women.(3) To Promote The Social Inclusion Of Muslim Women Who Are Socially Excluded From Society Or Parts Of Society, On The Grounds Of Their Social/or Economic Position In Particular By:i. Relieving Their Needs And Preventing Them From Becoming Socially Excluded.ii. Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society And Achieve Their Potential Through Developing Their Capacities And Skills.iii. Promoting Their Education.iv. Increasing Their Effective Participation Within The Wider Community.
