## **Achievements and Performance**

||SORP reference||
|---|---|---|
|Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.|Para 1.20|The charity has supported dozens of
families this year, by mainly arranging the
foster care of their pets. In nearly all cases
those animals are reunited with their
owners once they have secured their own
safety. On occasion, the charity has
supported those who cannot be separated
from their pets by offering advice, support
and signposting, or by assisting them to
reach safety.
By doing this work, those survivors of
domestic abuse have been able to seek
safety and escape their abuse. Had we not
supported them, those people may have
stayed with or returned to their situations of
abuse.
We have provided certainty to our service
users, and reassurance that their pets are
safe, such that they have not had their
situations worsened by the stress of their
animals being unsafe.|
|**Additional information (optional)**
You may choose to include further statements||where relevant about:|
|Achievements against
objectives set|Para 1.41|Our objectives included an aim to spread
awareness of the existence of the charity.
We have managed to do this with a
newspaper and social media campaign, as
well as a poster and leaflet campaign.|
|Performance of fundraising
activities against objectives
set|Para 1.41|We have partaken in multiple public events
to raise awareness and funds, have
developed a range of items to assist in
fundraising, and applied for and
successfully received a grant of a
significant sum of money.|
|Investment performance
against objectives|Para 1.41|Not applicable.|
