The Trustees are responsible for the keeping of proper accounting records, which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charity Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence to take reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The charity was able to raise funds for their charitable activities. During the year they held lectures and seminars on Islamic teachings and provided charitable donations.
Section E Financial review
The charity maintains unrestricted funds which equates to at least Brief statement of the approximately three months unrestricted expenditure. This provides charity’s policy on reserves sufficient funds to cover management, administration and support cost. The reserves policy is assessed and monitored on a yearly basis to ascertain its suitability for the charity

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the period ended 31/03/2023 .
As the charity trustees of the CIO, you are responsible for the preparation of Responsibilities and the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 basis of report (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the CIO’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
