Governance and Management
The charity is governed by its deed of trust dated 21 st February 2022.
In accordance with the deed there must be at least two trustees.
Apart from the first trustees, every trustee must be appointed by a resolution of the trustees
passed at a special meeting called under clause 15 of the deed.
In selecting individuals for appointment as trustees, the trustees must have regard to the skills,
knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the charity.
The deed also contains conditions for eligibility for trusteeship and termination of trusteeship.
Objectives and Activities
The objects of the charity are as follows:
To a(Jvance such charitable purposes18ccording to the law of Englan(J and Wales) as the trustees
see fit from time to tirne, in any part of the world, in particular by providing grants.

During the year the charity has provided financial support to the following organisations:
Tibet Relief Fund
Crisis
Policy on reserves
Given the low running costs of the charity, the trustees have no policy on reserves nor any plans
to create a reseive fund.

Independent examiner's reportto thetrustees of The Bellackcharitable Foundation
I report to the ch8rity trustees on my examination of the accoLJnts of The Bellack Charitable
Foundation (the Trust) for the year ended 20 February 2023.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the prep8ration of the accounts in accordance
with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 1"the Act").
I report in respect of my examin8tion of the Trust's 8ccounts carried out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given
by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention
in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in. any materi81 respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act.
or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records. or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirernents concerning the form and
content of accounts set out in the Charities IAccounts and Reports) Regulations 2008
other than any requirement that the accounts give a'true and fair, view which is not a
matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the ex8mination
to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understancling of the
accounts to be reached.

ACCOUNTING POLICIES
Basis of preparing the f inancial statements
The financial statements of the charity, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have
been prep8recJ in accordance with the Charities SORP IFRS 1021 Accounting and Reporting
by Charities: the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by
Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting standard
applic8ble in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 issued on 16 July 2014., Financial
Reporting Standard 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the United
Kingdom and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021.
Income
All income is recognised in the Statement of Financial Activities once the charity has
entitlementto the funds. it is probable that the income will be received and the amount C8n
be measured reliably.
Expenditure
Liabilities are recognised as expen(Jiture as soon as there is 8 legal or constructive
obligation committing the charity to that expenditure, it is probable that a transfer of
economic benefits will be required in settlement and the amount of the obligation c8n be
measured reliably. Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been
classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category. Where costs
cannot be directly attributed to particular headings they have been allocated to activities
on 8 basis consistent with the Llse of resources.
Taxation
The ch8rity is exempt from tax on its charitable activities.
Fund accounting
Unrestricted tunds c8n be used in accoriJ8nce with the charitable objectives at the
discretion of the trustees. Restricted funds can only be used for particular restricted
purposes within the objects of the charity. Restrictions arise when specified by the donor
or when tunds are raise(J for particular restricte(J purposes.
Further explanation of the nature and purpose of each fund is included in the notes to the
financial statements.
