1. Th8 meeting was opened by who tC#)k the Chair.
All were welcomed tci the third Annual General Me8ting of the Billerfcay Men's Shed.
2, The minutes of the 2024 AGM were KKesented. there being rK) items of darification
they were accepted as a true rec4yd.
Proposed Kim Barford & Seconded Karen Fashanu - Accepted by all presènt.
3, The Chair announce Truslee membership changes during the y8ar wtlh Christln8
Townley resigning to pursue other interests and Stephen Pull8y lolnlng th8 group of
Trustees.
He went on to highlight the invaluable commitment of the ojrrent Trustees thal have
worked throughout the year as both Trustees and the Managernent Group for The
Shed.
He summarised the development of the 8lllericay Men's Shed and how we had
grown from a small support group in 2019 with the support of the Essex Shed
Network into today's thriving groups of r8solut8 shedders.
The Shed has grown to a membership of c76 member5 and operates on four
sessions each week, Tea & ChaL Woodworking and Dementia Friends.
He also mentionèd how the Shed ccrtnmunicates with the ever-popular Sh8d
Newsletter now retitle(I 'News of the Shed World.. We also continue to share
infomiation Y￿th our members by Fa￿book and conts'nuing viith traditional items such
as leaflets. posters, and visits to Events around the area.
We have continued to th in partnership with Basikjon Borough Council Parks
Team, Essex Shed Network, Dementia Alliance, TIME. and other local and Essex
wide groups.
4, The financial repc￿l was delivered by Kim. Vh￿ orculated accounts and an
overview document that briefly explained how the money wa5 being used. she
h￿hlIghted the breakdovm of items on inwme expenditure and how the money
is being held in an intsrest eaming Bank A(uJunt.
