Incorporated Organisation first registered on 3rd
March 2023. This report is prepared to 31st

The charity’s main activities are delivered in
Ghana, West Africa in the second year of
operation we continued to deliver a mentoring
programme for girls in two senior high schools in
the capital Accra. In addition, a guest speaker
programme has been established with another
school to widen the reach of our support. We
work in partnership with
Yere Dzikan LBG which is incorporated in Accra,
Ghana. A memorandum of understanding is in
place which sets out the terms of this
arrangement.
Activities
The majority of delivery has taken place face to
face with mentors and guest speakers attending
O’Riley and Labonne Senior High schools in
conjunction with our partner organisation. In
addition, the guest speaker programme has been
extended to Accra Wesley Girls High School.

Additional volunteers have been recruited and Yere Dzikan mentors have continued to work with the consent of parents and in cooperation with head teachers. Coordinators in each school are key liaison between the girls and the charity. In addition to the mentoring programme being delivered to 6 girls in each school (an increase from 5 in our first year), there have been two career’s days to which the whole school are invited. Each mentee has also had the opportunity for a job shadowing based on her career interest. There has been ongoing involvement from an educational psychologist and an informational talk was provided to support girls with applications to higher education. Outcomes One girl did not complete the programme due to a change in her personal circumstances. The remainder graduated at an event in January 2024. Based on feedback from teachers and the pupils the development of confidence is a key outcome from the programme.
