Activities

The Heart of Headcorn is based at a community centre, The Heart of Headcorn Cultural and Community Hub, providing a venue for activities for all sections of our local community. Activities include Singing for Health, Chess Club, Widows Club, Music Clubs, Meditation, Headcorn Social Club, Laughing Yoga, Astronomy Club, Empower Fitness Class, a Community Choir, a Chatty Cafe and a Community Pantry.

Objects: 1. To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Headcorn And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Age, Disability, Race, Nationality, Ethnic Origin, Marriage/civil Partnership Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together With The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of The Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants;2. To Establish, Or Secure The Establishment Of A Neighbourhood Centre, To Be Known As ?the Heart Of Headcorn? And To Maintain And Manage The Same (whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Other Person Or Body) In Furtherance Of These Objects.
