INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT ON THE ACCOUNTS OF THE SHOEBURY ARK (CHARITY NO 11980941 FOR THE YEAR ENDED 315T JANUARY 2024 SETOUT ON PAGES IAND 2 Respective responsibllltles of the trustees and examlner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider thal an audit is not required for this year under Section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 Ithe Charities Act) and that an independent examinètion is needed. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 14515llbl of the Charfcies Act, and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basi5 of independenl examiner's ststement My examlnation was carried out in accordance wfth the general Directions given by the Charity CommSsslon. An examination includes a review of the accountlng records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual item5 or disclosures in the accounts and seekin8 explanations from the trustees concerning any such matter5.
