The existing trustees appoint any new trustees following the provisions laid out in the Charity's governing instrument.
Charity Trustees must be appointed by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the Charity Trustees following a recommendation by the Spiritual Leadership
GOVERNING INSTRUMENT Constitution of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation dated 9 December 2021, approved by the Charity Commission on 24 February 2022.
The Trustees of Mosaic Church Bangor, established by Trust Deed dated 8 September 2004 (Charity Number 1109496) have agreed it is in the best interest of the charity to begin the process of incorporation to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The Charity Commission has approved the establishment of a CIO on 24th of February 2022 and since have approved the transfer of assets. The transfer of assets took place on 31st August 2023. All activities and trustees will remain the same.
Until the date of incorporation and transfer of assets, the CIO was inactive.
OBJECTS

To advance the Christian faith in Bangor in the county of Gwynedd and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Charity Trustees may from time to time think fit, in accordance with the Statement of Faith; and

To relieve persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress or who are sick.

The CIO was established in advance of the transfer of asset5 from Mosaic Church Bangor Charitable Trust (Charity Number 11094961. The transfer of assets took place on 31" August 2023 and untt"I this time the CIO had no activities. The CIO will become active on I September 2023. The activities of Mosaic Church Bangor is reported by the trustees in the Trustees Annual Report for Charity number 1109496. Flnances The total income for the year amounted to £0 and the expenditure amounted to £0. The total sum transferred froffl Mosaic Church Bangor (Charity Number 11094961 was £154,390. Within this figure, the following restricted fund was transferred.. Building Fund- £12,048. Equipment with a value of £10,982 were also transferred to the CIO on 31° August 2023 alongside a liability of £828 for governance costs. NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS
FOR THE PERIOD TO 31[ST] AUGUST 2023
1. BASIC OF ACCOUNTING
The accounts have been prepared under the “Receipts and Payments” basis as prescribed by the Charity Commissioners, and they meet the appropriate legal requirements.
2. PAYMENTS TO TRUSTEES
No payments were made to trustees or any persons connected with them during this financial period, other than reimbursement for small items paid for on behalf of the Charity. No other material transaction took place between the organisation and a trustee or any person connected with them.
3. GUARANTEES AND SECURED DEBTS
The trustees confirm, in accordance with the Charitable Incorporated Organisations (General) Regulation 2012, that at the period end the CIO did not have any outstanding guarantees to third party nor any debts secured on the assets of the CIO.
