Charity Trustees must be appointed by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the Charity Trustees following a recommendation by the Spiritual Leadership

GOVERNING INSTRUMENT Constitution of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation dated 9 December 2021, approved by the Charity Commission on 24 February 2022.

The Trustees of Mosaic Church Bangor, established by Trust Deed dated 8 September 2004 (Charity Number 1109496) have agreed it is in the best interest of the charity to begin the process of incorporation to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The Charity Commission has approved the establishment of a CIO on 24th of February 2022 and since have approved the transfer of assets, which is likely to be completed in the summer of 2023. All activities will remain the same.

Until the date of incorporation and transfer of assets, the CIO is inactive.

OBJECTS

  1. To advance the Christian faith in Bangor in the county of Gwynedd and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Charity Trustees may from time to time think fit, in accordance with the Statement of Faith; and

  2. To relieve persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress or who are sick.

The Charitable Incorporated Organisation was established and registered with the Charity Commission on 24 February 2022.

The CIO was established in advance of the transfer of assets from Mosaic Church Bangor Charitable Trust (Charity Number 1109496). The transfer of assets is due to take place in the summer of 2023 and until this time the CIO has no activities. The activities of Mosaic Church Bangor is reported by the trustees in the Trustees Annual Report for Charity number 1109496.

Finances

The total income for the year amounted to £0 and the expenditure amounted to £0.

TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILITIES IN RELATION TO FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

Charity Law requires the Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which comply with the regulations set out in the Charities Act 2011. The Trustees have elected to take advantage of the provisions that apply to small charities and have prepared a Receipts and Payments Account and Statement of Assets and Liabilities.

NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS

FOR THE PERIOD TO 31[ST] AUGUST 2022

1. BASIC OF ACCOUNTING

The accounts have been prepared under the “Receipts and Payments” basis as prescribed by the Charity Commissioners, and they meet the appropriate legal requirements.

2. PAYMENTS TO TRUSTEES

No payments were made to trustees or any persons connected with them during this financial period, other than reimbursement for small items paid for on behalf of the Charity. No other material transaction took place between the organisation and a trustee or any person connected with them.

3. GUARANTEES AND SECURED DEBTS

The trustees confirm, in accordance with the Charitable Incorporated Organisations (General) Regulation 2012, that at the period end the CIO did not have any outstanding guarantees to third party nor any debts secured on the assets of the CIO.
