Siri Guru Singh Sabha Crawley was registered with the Charity Commission on 23rd February 2022 under charity number 1198039.
## _**Organizational Structure**_
The members of the charity are its trustees, who are solely eligible for membership. Membership cannot be transferred. The trustees oversee the charity’s general control and management, dedicating their time voluntarily without any financial benefits.
Meetings can be called by any trustee. Trustees collectively decide the process for calling meetings and any notice requirements. They may also select one trustee as chairperson, with the option to revoke this appointment anytime. If no chair is appointed or present within 30 minutes of a meeting’s start, the trustees present may choose a chair for that meeting.

## _**Objectives**_
The charity’s mission is to advance the Sikh religion for public benefit, primarily through:
- Providing a place of worship
- Raising awareness and understanding of religious beliefs
- Performing devotional acts
- Community outreach, especially for the elderly and those in need.
## _**Summary of Main Activities**_
Currently, weekly prayers are held at local community centers. Efforts are ongoing to secure a permanent location to establish a dedicated Gurdwara.

As of 28 February 2024, the charity held £570 in reserves. These funds are reserved for potential site acquisitions or investments for a
permanent Gurdwara. Our primary financial focus this year has been to diversify income streams to achieve greater financial stability.
