Para 1.20 The church worked toward becoming a CIO
throughout the period of 2020 - July 2023 with a
full and comprehensive review of the Church’s
constitution and the registering of land of the
Old Chapel graveyard. The church was
registered as a CIO on 22 February 2022 and
the transfer of assets took place on 1 July 2023.
Following a churchwide initiative in January
2024 - ’40 Days of Community’ - some new
ministries have begun through the hard work
and commitment of many people within our
fellowship, enabling us to be more effective in
our aim of ‘serving Jesus in our community’.
We have also continued with long established
ministries, which benefit our fellowship and
community.
During this year we have completed work on an
extension to our existing car park benefitting
visitors to our church and our local community.
The church continues to explore and plan for a
building project which may remodel interior
rooms, improve signage and possibly extension
work.
