Activities

We support refugees and people seeking asylum to settle into the local community in East Kent. We build links between refugees, people seeking asylum and other local people, and nurture a supportive and empowering community for people to understand and integrate into British society.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Provide Relief To Asylum Seekers Who Are In Need And Have Been Accommodated At Napier Barracks Or Other Institutional Asylum Accommodation Through The Provision Of A Support Network To Provide Education, Volunteering Opportunities And Such Other Support And Services As The Trustees Deem Appropriate In Order To Advance Them In Life And Assist Them With The Adaption Within The Community.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008.
