The charity's object is to adva[￿e the Clyistian faith in aCcx)rdar￿e with the statement of beliefs
and the worship of God by any means whatsoever. It￿1￿11r￿￿ (but not by way of limitation} the
preaching and proclaiming of the Christian Gos￿. The object is also the teaching of Christian
doctrine and principles and the pastoral care of Christian pwjle, and the printiThJ and distribution
of the Bible in the county of Staffordshire or dsewhere in the Unrted KiNJdom or the world, as the
trustees from time to time may think fft.

In planning the activrties of the church for the year. the Leadership Team has considered the
Charity ComTnission's guidance on public benefft and. in particular. the specific guidance on
chariti&8 for the advancement of religion. In particular. the team utilises ways for people to live out
their faith as part of the Church c(Knmunty.

The Church Leadership Team is committed to enablirKJ both the Church corvJregation and
members of the public to engage in church actwibes and partake in worship and other services
conducted by the Church within the Christian faith c￿eXt.
The Church seNices pth into Practi￿ these ￿[￿fft8 by providiThJ Sunday Communion Meetings
alongside wular Bible stucty, prayer. praise, and worship services. Other meetings are arranged
when and where necessary. suth as specific events for religious f&stivaJs incI￿1ng Christmas and
Easter. All these meetings are open and aV￿lable for members of the public to attend and are
widdy advertised.

times, which provide benefrts tailored to cater for the needs of each group. These groups provide
Bible study and a time of socialisirvJ th fellowship. There have also been arranged throughout
the year, women's groups a￿1 men's groups organised around various activities.
In the year. we moved the Bible Stu(ty s￿l0n$ the church holds. from a room in a large
residential home to a mre accessitAe building at Longsdon Memorial Hall. The effect of this was
for the church to ￿ able to make the in-person Bible Studies more accessible to both the
corgregation and public. The number of people attendiry these sessions has increased.
The on-line video services are also provided across various social rn￿11a platfomis. free of charge.
to benefit the Church cOngr￿atIOn and the general public who are not able to attend the Church
building in person. These wvices. as V￿&1 as reaching people within the local communty. are also
reached by people in the rest of the UK. The church s￿VIceS are watched by people in countries
worldwide, which Ir￿lude Bulgari& Slovakia. Canada. Itaty, India. K￿y& France. Pakistan,
and South Africa.
Victory Church Leek has txen invtted regularly throughout the year to speak on the local radio.
"Moorlands Radio.. and is delighted that this has (x)ntinued throughout the year. We value this
opportunity wthin the communty and give thanks to evwyone at Moorfands Radio.

In March 2024. the church ￿1Ved two t8am5 of sbjdents from Charis Bible College. Walsall (8)
and {9) in the teams respectivdy. The stLKlerrts stayed in the town for a week and became part of
the church. These were mission teams coming to the town of Leek and help￿ with the
presentation of the various church activities sith as worship evenings, testimony evenings. and
engagement with the general public in the towns of I￿k and Buxton.
These services were advertiwl widely atKJ pro￿d￿j free for members of the congregation and
the public. Another of the activities was to provide eveniro Sep41￿ at which prayers and healing
were offered.
Victory Church Leek hosted a team of Leaders from Bulgaria for a week, during which training,
seminars, and workshops were held in the church. Mary of these Se￿OnS were open to the
public and widely advertised.
The church has been host to a number of visiting speakets at the various public-held worship
ServI￿S throughout the year. This has [￿luded Simon Turpin. UK Director of pnSwe￿ in Genesis.
Will and Barbara Graham of KirrfJdom Highwass Ministy. aNI Andrea Williarr6. Chief Ex￿UtiVe of
Christian Concem.
The church held a Christmas Carol seNice at a large I￿81 retirement home for the residents. It
has dso hosted various children's activities througlKxrt the year. The church celebration seNices
have been held durÈr¥J the Cfvistmas and Easter times and for the church's 5 year celebrations.
Members of the Church Leadership Twn have attended several Charty Commission seminars
and workshops througholrt the year as part of trainirKJ in their roles and resrM)nsibilities within a
faith-based charity context.

church.
The church saw a member of the congr￿JatI0n. $Upwt￿ by the Church. successfully graduate
their second year at Charis Bible College. Walsall.
A group of ladies from Victory Church attended the European Conferenc* "Women Arise. held in
Wdsall.
DUrir￿ the year. Victory Church has been able to reached and rx)nnected with different
communthes within the sutToundirg areas of Leek atvj surroundirvJ towns. which has resulted in
an increase in the awareness of the Ctr￿rCh and people corning to be a part of the communty.
We hav8 S8en the lrfe of the Church grow throughout the year, vthere people of varied age groups
and varied walks of lrfe have att￿ded of the ChU￿h and gained tremendous benefrt.
We have met as a Church t1v0￿jhOut the year at various retail premises within the town of Leek.
which has bro￿ht the benefits of patmge to different kinds of businesses wiihin Leek and the
sum)unding are&
During the year. Victory Church Leek gave to vatious charitable organisations the total amount of
£12,862, which represents a total of 15.8% of the receipts arKI donations received during the year.
This is an increase from the previ(yJs year. ￿23. which vras 13.33%.

Th8S8 donated funds have gone towards making an impact on tackting poverty. p￿ul10n.
welfare issues. several childr￿¥ welfare agencies. Christian education. and support. This also
includes support of other churches aThJ OUtr￿haS within the UK.
The church has supported other charitable Christian organisations at a local. national, and
international level. These agencies have been supwt&d either on a rrK)nthty basis throughout the
year or on a one-off basis. usualty over the Christmas period.
Due to the valuable supwrt of the Churth cor¥Jrg3ation and Mem￿1$ of the public. the
perfomiance of Vthry Church during the reported year ha% made a tremendous impact upon the
lives of many people in Leek and the surrounding ar8as. nationally and intemationatly. People
lives have been impacted, changed. and transfonned in ama￿ng ways.
The year has been of great er￿OUragernent and provid&8 Victory Church a valuable plafform for
the future in which to progress further in its purpose and obj￿tiveS as a Christian charitable
organisation.
Finally. the trustees have had regard to the CW commission￿ guidarre on public benefft when
organisiro a￿1 providirvJ the activities of the Chwity.

I report on the accounts for the period ended 31 De￿mber 2024. which are set out above.

The charl￿S trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charitVs trustees
consider that an audit is not required for this year under the section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011
(the 2011 Artl and that an independent examination is needed.

Basis of Independent examinerfs report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Dirertions given by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of anv
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanation from you as trustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that
would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts
present a 'true and fair viev¥ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement
below.
