## Section D                      Achievements and performance 

|**Summary of the main**<br>**achievements of the**<br>**charity during the year**||**Management Report:**<br>I was re-elected as the President at 2022 AGM until the new CIO conversion<br>is completed, to lead a team of volunteers engaged in the provision of its<br>services to the local communities.  Treasurer and Gen Sec resigned that<br>resulted in new Secretaries and Treasurers being elected. The election was<br>facilitated by Baldev Singh Sian, a Trustee of RSR.<br>The new teamof officers/volunteers worked hard to bring  all records of RSR<br>up to date and on better footing/information for better decision making, using<br>advanced skills of the new team members.<br>Our main weekly programmes are held on Sundays to serve our community’s<br>religious and spiritual needs and are run fully following restricted period<br>during covid.<br>Team of dedicated kitchen Sewadars (volunteers) prepare and serve our<br>congregation hot tea, snacks and lunch prepared from our kitchen.<br>Spiritual/faith services for births, deaths, Amrit, anniversary remembrances,<br>etc.<br>RSR also runs other programmes during the week to include:<br>**RSR Outreach**;<br>• RSR, in partnership with SWAT provide Reading based service to the<br>homeless twice a week, with hot food and other needs.<br>• Monthly Knitter-Natter meetings where outputs are donated to local<br>health care organisations<br>• Weekly Seniors meetings to encourage senior members to meet<br>• Monthly seniors lunch<br>• A special Ukraine delivery service was also conducted<br>**Other regular services:**<br>• All Sunday and Wed services were well delivered<br>• Schools, Scouts and other Orgs’ awareness events were delivered<br>• Weekly Punjabi Language learning classes delivered<br>• Weekly Music Kirtan/Tabla classes delivered<br>• Weekly Ladies Sat Sang meetings conducted<br>• Morning and evening prayers every day delivered<br>• Fortnightly Kiddies Sangat for very young delivered<br>The team supports many projects relating to RSR’s services and buildings so<br>that we operate in a safe and healthy environment at all times.<br>A number of developments from small jobs to extension works were planned<br>and completed.||

## Section D                      Achievements and erformance p 

The team manages the letting and management of the RSR’s property at 236 London Road. CIO Conversion Progress: 

Buildings assets transferred to the new CIO RSR Charity no 1197912 in March 2023.  Bank accounts are being transferred.  CIO compliant operations start 1 April 2023. The mortgage loan on 236 LR was paid off resulting on NWB charge removal. 

Following all due diligence, the old charity 277041 will be closed down using Charity Commission processes and the new CIO charity will continue. New management structure will be set from 1 April initially transferring as many of the existing roles appointed at last AGM to new organisation until the new first term trustees are selected in the months ahead. President, Trustees, MC, thanks all Langar sevadars and Officers for their massive selfless contribution for another successful year. Surjit Singh Jutla, President, RSR.

I planned and FerfOrn￿d my audit 50 as to obtsin sufficient information and explanations which I
considered necessary in order to provide me with adequate evI￿enCe to give reasonable assurants that
the financial statements are free from material misstatement,whether caused by fraud or other irregularity
or error.
In my opinion the financial statements give a true and fair view of the Stale of the Sabha's affairs at
31 March 2023 and of its SurplUslDe￿K for the year then ended.
In the course of the audrt I have made some observations and would recommend that the following
