Trustees’ Report for Financial Year 6 April 2023 to 5 April 2024
Achievements and performance
The Friends of the Mint House has achieved much since its formation in April 2021. During the year activity has focused on establishing the charity, essential preservation work to the building and fundraising.
Financial Review
As at 5 April 2024 the Charity had just over £31,000 cash funds. However, this relates to the balance on unspent restricted funds offset by a deficit on unrestricted funds of £4,481. Consequently, the Charity does not hold any reserves as at 5 April 2024. Unrestricted funding has been received post year end to cover the deficit.
The Charity is in the process of finalising the reserves policy for the future.
Structure, governance and management
The Friends of the Mint House is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), governed by a constitution, registered in England and Wales on 14 February 2022. The Constitution / governing document is available on request.
