## **Trustees Report 2023** 

During the year the Wetland remained closed whilst it negotiated a lease with Wolvey Parish Council (The Landlord). 

A donation of £15,000 was received from the developer of the adjacent site Countryside Developments Ltd, who were further invoiced the sum of £6645.69 for reparations and future access over the site. 

A single invoice £420 was received for testing of the boardwalk. 

The trustees hope to sign a 25 year lease with The Landlord in 2024 and subsequently reopen the Wetland to the public.
