This is the 2[nd] Annual Report of the charity. We became a registered CIO on 10[th] February 2022.
Our registered charity name is Londonderry Baptist Church.
We recruited our Trustee’s and wanted a mixed board of Trustee’s who could offer up different skill sets and giftings and experience, hence we have a board of Trustee’s who have a variety of skills to enable us to run the charity to its fullest potential.

We are a Christian church who wants to see the advancement of the Gospel. We support a number of churches, who are affiliated with LBC. Our affiliated churches work closely with LBC and the Senior Leader and Eldership team over LBC work closely with all affiliated church congregations.
LBC Senior Leader: Aaron Jarvis
Overview:
We are a Christian church who became a CIO in 2022. We promote the Gospel of Jesus.
We believe:

The one true God who lives eternally in three persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.
-
The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God—fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
-
The dignity of all people, made male and female in God's image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.
-
The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ—born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.

The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.

The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.

The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.

The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.

The Church, the body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers—given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit's gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.

The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.
We are committed to enabling as many people as possible into worship at our church and to encourage them to become part of our church community.
We continually look at how we can engage people within our communities into the church and faith. We provide a number of evangelistic outreach events throughout the year, that are always well attended and supported by our communities. During these events we are able to talk with people share our faith.
We promote our services and encourage those who are part of LBC and new people to attend, we hold services on Sundays, where we also provide creche, kids and youth provision with a well trained and certified team, we encourage our children and young people to be very much part of our church community. We hold weekly prayer meetings which are integral to the growth of our church, our prayer meetings are one of the most

important services provided. We have weekly bible studies that take place at different times to allow as many people as possible to attend.
We have regular meetings for our senior citizens, this is an important part of our ministry and we are thankful to have such a core group that run this so effectively.
We take the pastoral care of people very seriously and we are privileged to be in a position where we can offer help and support to everyone.
2023:
Another year has gone! We’d like to thank you all for your continued prayers and support as we go and run the race God has set before us for LBC. On behalf on myself, Helen, Israel and Sheila we are thankful for all God has done and for the constant provision, thank you to each of you for all you bring to this vision for LBC.
As we ended 2022, we were 21 congregations over 7 nations!!! Prior to this we ended 2021 as 16 congregations over 6 nations. As we approached the end of 2023, we saw God had moved mightily and LBC became 25 congregations over 8 nations, with talks already in process for more possibilities! LBC Leeds began, a Portuguese speaking home church, LBC Langley began in March, another church was planted in Brazil – LBC Rio and we stepped into Wales for the first!
We have continued to see the goodness of God, seeing Him transform lives with people meeting and encountering Jesus for the first time and for others to grow their relationship deeper. The beauty of LBC is we don’t just see it here, but we see it through the many congregations that are based worldwide. We have seen baptisms, seen the faithfulness of God convert many situations. It has been a year to celebrate all God has done and His goodness. He has been so faithful to LBC.
We continually stand firm on the importance of prayer and how the engine room of the church is vital to continue to see the vision fulfilled. Our commitment to prayer is evident.
We have seen numerical growth in bible studies, home groups, men’s and women’s ministry – these times provide opportunities for growth for individuals and offer a place to be together with others. These times provide a great place for people to seek God, build relationships with other and be part of the church.
Every year we comment on how the kids work goes from strength to strength and in 2023 this was no different. Our kids and youth workers are dedicated to supporting all the children. From in house sessions and fun to worker alongside local primary schools we have seen this area of the church raise the bar. Thank you to each person who leads, delivers, supports the kids and youth – it is a vital part of church life, we appreciate all the time and effort that goes in behind the scenes.

Daily life of the church is fruitful and busy, we have continued to see baptisms, weddings and dedications to name a few.
Again, we opened our doors at both Birmingham and Oldbury for our community outreach days with BBQ’S, bouncy castles, face painting and lots more! Each year these days are always well attended, it’s a time for us to give to the community and bless them. We want to see God blessing these times more and more with people walking through our doors and then returning.
The church in Portugal was visited and we are in constant regular contact with all churches affiliated to LBC. All churches based in the UK were visited also.
LBC Oldbury have been under the leadership of Stuart and his leadership team; Oldbury continues to grow and has seen many visitors throughout 2023. LBC Oldbury continues to grow and has encouraged the members to be involved, offering the overall LBC events as well as putting on in house events to encourage the relationships within to become stronger.
Over in Birmingham, Aaron is leading the church as Pastor with Luke supporting in many ways as Associate Pastor, without Luke’s support Aaron wouldn’t be able to be released to support different congregations in LBC. Aaron and Helen have been released from Birmingham every other week to Pastor LBC Langley.
LBC Iranian is going well and is led by Mo and Saba; we are seeing growth spiritually there and we have been fortunate enough to have been successful in getting funding towards Saba’s wage.
The leadership teams over both Oldbury and Birmingham play an integral role to the individual congregations and we are thankful to have such dedicated, servant hearted people of God in these positions – thank you.
As we ended 2023, there is an excitement for what we will see throughout 2024, there is an expectancy in how God will move and we are ready!
As great as what we are seeing and what God has allowed us all to be part, there will always be a logistical side that can have some issues. We continually are reliant on God to provide all we need, both financially and physically and of course spiritually. We are praying for God to continue to grow us, He knows our every need and we trust Him with each and every thing.
The Future:
We are excited and expectant for all we will see in 2024.
We want to be able to reach our communities more, in the Oldbury area and Birmingham area.
There are different issues that we are willing to tackle over both areas.

Finance:
We had an income of £65,442 from tithes and offerings within the church which is up slightly on last year. Gift Aid is an integral tool we have and it really does make a huge difference to our finance.
We continue to have the different ‘pots’, this helps us to ensure we are using the finance in the areas that is needed and in order to continue working in the vision God has given us: to plant churches from here, to the coast, into Europe and into the world.
The plant pot is key in the vision of the church and in October we held a fundraiser across all LBC congregations to put into this. We raised £13057 to be added to the pot in order for us to support the planting of churches.
We would like to thank our members for their continued generosity to the church and the vision.
Our main expenditure is staff costs and utility bills.
All our financial income and expenditure is detailed in our independent examination.
