Th8 charity is governed by The Henfield Hall constitulw)n dated 16 February 2022. It was s8t up to convert
the Henfield Village Hall Tnjsl, charity registraliw number 305377. into a CIO. The assets and funds were
Iransl@rred on 1 April 2023.
The charity has s8veial policies in operation to help govern the charity. The w)licies a￿ reVI￿&d regulady
both by the stsff and managernent committee to ensu￿ they are both appropriate and adequalg.
All membets ol Ihe man8gement comrnitt8e give their ts.me vc4untsiily and receive remuneraiion. they all
make a signifiEanl contribution lo the successful running of the chanty, in particu18r by regularty altending
mana9ement meetirvJs to ensure the Gharity is operated appropriately and any issues are quckly and
adequately resolved. Regular us8rs a￿ enliled to a dL%counl on lethng fees.
Achiev8ments a￿4 performance
The smooth running of all the Serv￿88 provided by Th& Hall are at the centre of our achievements. and will
always be central lo thls report.
Flnanclal revlew
ThÈ Hall keeps sufficient reserves lo lulfil Its day-today requirements. The costs of providing the services
havo been covered by the incorne generated by The Hall, a small surplus has been achieved.
To support our aim tOW8rd5 reducing our carLw)n fcN)Iprint, we will install a battery backup system to work in
conjunction with our solar panels next ye8r.
Our principal sources offunds from ienling out spa￿, don8I'on5 and a number ol fundraising Èvénts.

As the trustees of the charity yoti are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with
the requirements ol the Chanlies Act 2011 I'ihe 2011 Acl'l.
I report in respect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under se¢tion 145 of the 2011
Act and in carrying oul rny examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by Ihe Charity
Commission under section 14515llbl ol the 2011 Act.

The charity has elected to apply the provssions of Section 11 '8asic Financial Instruments, and Section

are recognised in the charity's balance sheet when the charity becomes party tothe contra￿￿81 provisions
