## **Financial Review for Trustees' Annual Report** 

## **Financial Summary** 

During the reporting period, the charity managed its financial activities primarily through its PayPal account. The charity saw a steady stream of public support through individual donations and subscriptions, as well as the PayPal Giving Fund. 

The PayPal Giving fund is not a giving fund at all. It actually a vessel through which money passes that members of the public have donated via “pick a charity” option on ebay etc. We note this here to point out generosity of the public rather than PayPal Giving Fund. 

Total incoming resources for the period amounted to £821.60. Total resources expended to support the charity’s objectives and operations amounted to £832.99. 

## **Reserves Policy** 

The year-end balance in the PayPal account stands at £411.28. These funds are held as unrestricted reserves to cover upcoming operational costs and project-related expenses. The trustees continue to monitor the balance between incoming public donations and the necessary transfers from the main bank account to maintain a sustainable operating model.

- This year was our most successful trip to date: 

- Biggest Team (Between 6 and 13 People) 

- Most Plastic Removed from Beach (1.9 tons / Approx 35m3) 

- Approx 2kg removed for every £1 donated. 

- RORO Skip Provided by Council (Thank You David) 

- Help from Streetwise Services (Thanks Guys) 

- Great Weather (Quite Hot Actually)
