Kilburn Village Institute (Charity No. 1197850) Chair's Report March 9th 2023 The Charity Commission approved our creation of a CIO in February 2022 and since that time we have held regular meetings and have been working steadily with our solicitor to get the assets from the simple charity moved over. This has proved to be a convoluted journey in that the land is not yet registered with the His Majesty's Land Registry. Covid has ensured we are experiencing delays in this pro￿dure with first registrations with HMLR currently tsking up to 18 months! We need a new bank account for the CIO, and hopefully we will shortly have a new operational bank account for the CIO. This too has proved problematic as, since Covid, new "business" bank accounts have been difficult to open. We have been advised by our solicitor that we must run both bank accounts side by side until the Institute is transferred to the CIO and registered with the HMLR.

Ind dent examlnets re the trustees of Kll m Vllla Instltute CIO I have completed nry examlnation.
