Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	The objects of the CIO are: (1) the relief of sickness, poor health and old age amongst people living in Wigan and its surrounding areas by providing a local broadcasting service for hospitals, residential homes and similar institutions, and for patients receiving community care; and (2) the advancement of health and prevention or relief of sickness for the public benefit through the promotion of the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle, and the importance of maintaining good personal mental and physical health by (mainly, but not exclusively) the means of broadcasting health education messages to people living in Wigan and its surrounding areas.

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	At the end of the financial year there was £2066.54 in the bank. The continued effect of Covid impacts on our principal supporters fundraising opportunities restricting our income during the year, as has the difficult financial climate. We are continuing to investigate alternative funding sources and opportunities.

They are used to cover on- costs such as Licences, communications costs, e.g. broadband, insurance etc. We attempt to raise funds for specific projects which could come from grants.
