Activities
We run regular music sessions specifically for children who need extra support with communication and interaction. In small, accessible groups, signs and symbols are used alongside spoken language in songs and musical activities, to help understanding and choice-making. we operate in the NG9 area, attracting families from across the East Midlands.
Objects: For The Public Benefit The Relief Of Children With Social And/or Communication Difficulties, Their Families (The Beneficiaries) In Particular, But Not Exclusively, By:a) The Provision Of Regular Interactive And Enjoyable Music Sessions For Children With Their Parents Or Carers Using Specialised Strategies Within Musical Activities To Help The Children Express Themselves, Make Choices, Gain Confidence And Establish Friendships;b) Working Closely With Parents And Carers, Offering Them Practical An Emotional Support Around Their Children’s Communication Needs And Related Issues;c) Modelling Practical Strategies To Help The Families And Carers To Help Support Their Children’s Communication At Home And In The Community, And; D) Increasing Awareness And Knowledge Of Communication Difficulties And Associated Issues And Promoting The Communication Development, Social Skills And Confidence Of Children Who Need Extra Support In These Areas.
