With regard to public benefit and S 17(5) of the Charities Act and the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008, the trustees made preparations for the transfer of assets and undertakings of the Foxglove Covert Local Nature Reserve (Registered Charity Number 1089020) to The Foxglove Covert Foundation.

The specific reserves policy including any designation of reserves for specific purposes will be agreed by trustees on an annual basis. A proportion of The Foxglove Covert Foundation reserves will be invested to generate investment income. An investment policy will be agreed by trustees. All investments will be decided by trustees and should be consistent with the investment policy.
