Advancing the education of students at a critical learning age (in particular, students who are members of socially and economically disadvantaged communities of the UK) in subjects relating to sustainable development, and the protection, enhancement, and rehabilitation of the environment, to promote the study of such subjects; in particular by developing openly-accessible resources.
Objects: 4 Objects4.1 The Objects Of The Charity Are:4.1.1 The Promotion Of Sustainable Development For The Benefit Of The Public By:(a) The Preservation, Conservation And The Protection Of The Environment And The Prudent Use Of Resources; And(b) The Relief Of Poverty And The Improvement Of The Conditions Of Life In Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Communities.4.1.2 To Advance The Education Of Students At A Critical Learning Age (In Particular, But Not Exclusively Those Students At A Critical Learning Age Who Are Members Of The Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Communities Of The United Kingdom) In Subjects And Principles Relating To Sustainable Development, And The Protection, Enhancement And Rehabilitation Of The Environment And To Promote The Study Of Such Subjects; In Particular But Not Exclusively By Developing And Providing Openly Accessible Online And In-Person Resources. 4.2 For The Purposes Of This Article 4:4.2.1 "Sustainable Development" Means Development Which Meets The Needs Of The Present Without Compromising The Ability Of Future Generations To Meet Their Own Needs; And4.2.2 "Critical Learning Age" Means Persons Who Have Attained The Age Of Seven Years But Have Not Attained The Age Of Thirteen Years. 4.3 This Article 4 May Be Amended By Special Resolution But Only With The Prior Written Consent Of The Commission.
