NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS 31st DECEMBER 2025
1 The Scheme
The Scheme was created by order of the Charity Commission for England and Wales dated 19 April 2021 to supersede St. Paul's Church, Hadley Wood, Church Premises Trust and St. Paul's Church, Hadley Wood, Vicarage Trust. These accounts comprise the assets of the two former trusts.

Receipts and payments basis of accounts
Revenue and expenditure is recorded on a receipts and payments basis when preparing these accounts. There is a cost relating to the 2025 accounts of £1,000 which will be paid in 2026.

Equipment costs
Expenditure on equipment and moveable fittings at the vicarage property is written off as an expense when purchased and is not capitalised.

Trustees remuneration and expenses
No trustee received any remuneration or reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses during the year.
6 Related Party Transactions
During the financial year a transaction took place between the trust and St. Paul's Church. They are deemed to be related parties by virtue of the fact that Mrs. Kim Pulitzer is a trustee of this trust and a trustee of St. Paul's Church. The trustees confirm that the conflict of interest was appropriately managed and the related trustee declared her interest and was not involved in the decision making process regarding the donation or the porch project. The transaction comprised a donation from St. Paul's Church to this trust specifically to fund building improvements to the church porch and a new stained glass window. The total value of the transaction was £62,844 of which there was a balance outstanding at the year end of £2,493.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS REPORT ON THE ACCOUNTS
I report to the Trustees of St. Paul's Church, Hadley Wood, Trust (Charity No. 1197668) on the accounts for the year ended 31st December 2025 set out on pages 2 to 4.
As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination and confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect -

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or

the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
