**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:  1) THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF GATESHEAD BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING BOWLS. 2) TO FURTHER BENEFIT THE SAID INHABITANTS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR ANY OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS OF GATESHEAD.

**Activities:** We are an outdoor bowling club that was established in 1955. We are open from April to September for  activities.We play in several leagues  ladies  mens and mixed. We encourage anyone to come along and give bowling a try from aged 6 to 90. We have a great social side  day trips out   an annual bowling holiday for 49 members.Bingo and fun days. Age UK came into partnership with us 2 years ago
