There have been 9 requests that have come through the Network this last reporting period. We have been able to provide a call for action or direct support to meet these requests. Mountjoy were able to attend the day centre for Age Concern to assess a significant leak in the roof after they had received a quote that were unable to find the funds for. The team at Mountjoy kindly offered their services and completed the work on a timely and professional manner allowing Age Concern to use those important funds elsewhere. Traco kindly offered to provide the Portsmouth Volunteer Cadets with an industrial printer which they needed to be able to print information booklets and certificates for the young cadets. We will continue to deliver this vital programme to the community and aim to use social media and the newsletter to expand our reach and increase both our charity and business contacts list which will enable us to provide a more diverse range of capability for pairing any requests we receive. Post year end a donation of £4,000 has been secured towards the expanding of the above programme. ## **Plans for the future** During the year ahead The Shaping Portsmouth Foundation plans to continue and expand its education and community projects. ## **Financial Review** ## **Financial Position** The charity was not yet financially operational during the year and as such did not have any income or expenditure. Post year end a donation of £4,000 has been secured towards our community programme. ## . **Reserves Policy** It is the policy of the charity that unrestricted funds which are not represented by fixed assets or have not been designated for a specific use should be maintained at a level equivalent to between 3- and 6-month’s expenditure. At present the charity has no ongoing monthly expenditure commitments. ## **Structure, Governance and Management** ## **Governing Document** The charity is a charitable incorporated organisation registered with the Charity Commission and is governed by its Constitution of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. ## **The Shaping Portsmouth Foundation** ## **Registered Charity 1197593** ## **Annual Report cont.** ## **For the year ended 31 August 2023** ## **Trustees** Persons wishing to stand as trustees are nominated by an existing trustee and names are put forward at the annual general meeting for election.
