4 Bridgend Athletic Club was registered as charity on 19 January 2022 .
For the purposes of the Charity Commission the accounts cover a period of 347 of the 365 days in 2022 from 19 January – 31 December 2022.
The accounts and financial statements to be submitted to the Charity Commission will be based on an apportionment of the income and expenditure for 347 out of 365 days.

6 Consequently net club funds carried forward are just over £63,000 which is for future development of the clubhouse and track replacement.

7 In addition there is an arrangement with Welsh Athletics and Sport Wales that the remaining £10,000 of the Place for Sport Track grant (of £50,000, £40,000 already received) is being held until the lease for the track facility is signed with BCBC. Negotiations are ongoing to get the best long term deal for the club
