The Charity had a successful year, teaching 128 children aged 3 to 11. The Children are taught in small groups and provided with meals to improve their learning and focus.

The Charity continued building staff quarters to provide much needed accommodation for teachers, who primarily come from other towns and cannot travel several miles daily.

The charity refurbished a disused well in the village in May 2025 and added a 10000litres capacity tank to store pipe borne water form the well to the school premises. the Charity expanded its solar output by installing eight new solar panels and six new batteries, providing enough power to operate the well, laptops and other electrical equipment at the school.

The Charity covered the shipping costs for donated items such as chairs, desks, books, whiteboards, and clothing.

The Charity provided staff training in line with requirements of the ministry of Education.

The charity currently provides Internet and communication through subscriptions to mobile network providers in the country. In the future, the charity hopes to offer internet connect that would make it more accessible for pupils and staff.

## **Financial Review:**

The Mabomboh Education Project reported total income of £18,177 for the financial year ending 31 August 2025. This income was generated through donations from Sunfields Methodist Church, contributions from private individuals, and fundraising activities organised by the project.

The charity’s most significant source of funding in the past three years has been Chislehurst Methodist Church. These funds were restricted specifically to staff-related costs and amounted to £9,000 per annum over a three-year period (totalling £27,000), with the last year (FY23/24) represented the final year of the first agreed support. At the start of the current financial year (1 September 2024), the charity carried forward a balance of £11,075. During the year, £7,721 of these funds were utilised to cover staff costs, leaving a closing balance of £3,354.

Expenditure during the year was primarily focused on staff costs, day-to-day school operations, and the completion of the solar power system installation, which supports the sustainability of the school’s infrastructure.

Looking ahead, the charity will require continued funding to complete the construction of additional staff accommodation, improve access to water facilities at the school, and meet ongoing operational expenses.

## **Reserves**

The reserves policy for the Charity is to maintain a sum equivalent to six months’ average ongoing expenditure. This is necessary to ensure sufficient working capital is available to meet monthly salary payments and other costs associated with operating a school.

## **Declaration**
