The Trust was formed by like minded individuals with similar interests and wide-ranging experience of British agricultural animal breeds and a shared desire to conserve and enhance the sustainability of rare, at risk and endangered breeds.
Within this year the Trust successfully attended County Shows in Sta�ordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Westmorland, and the English Winter Fair at Sta�ord spreading the word about their initial projects and encouraging memberships and donations.
Embryo work continued on the Original Population Jersey Cows purchased last year resulting in a successful pregnancy during the year and a calf born in the summer of 2025.
Population Dairy Shorthorn cattle with a host farm supportive of our aims.
It is the Trustees continuing aim to develop further the website and social media presence and to attend relevant events within the coming year, whilst building on connections already made and encouraging membership and volunteers to continue to bring in income to enable further works to be conducted.
