|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**We launched our service on 1st April**<br>**2022, and in the reporting period we had**<br>**3 clients self-refer to us via the telephone**<br>**hotline.**<br>•<br>**2 clients were facing a crisis**<br>**pregnancy and had been told of**<br>**our service by their GP.**<br>•<br>**1 client was struggling after an**<br>**abortion and was signposted to us**<br>**by another charity,**<br>**Conversations on the phone line led to 2**<br>**of these clients having in person**<br>**counselling sessions with our trained**<br>**Advisors.**<br>**Our clients are given the time and space**<br>**to process their situation, and are offered**<br>**non-directive and non-judgmental**<br>**support in their moment of crisis.**<br>**Several GPs have started regularly**<br>**informing pregnant women of our**<br>**service, as we are able to offer help in the**<br>**key period of early pregnancy.**<br>**We signpost clients to other services**<br>**including: community groups, NHS**<br>**services, and specialist charities.**<br>**We have also sought to talk about the**<br>**issue of unexpected pregnancy and**<br>**abortion in church communities, to**<br>**educate and enable women who are**<br>**struggling to access the help and support**<br>**they need.**|
