## **Objectives and activities** 

A group of Christian volunteers from various churches across Swindon. Working independently, but with the full support of the Local Authority and the Police, and working closely with security and door staff of the pubs and clubs, we patrol the Town Centre on Friday and Saturday nights. We are not there to preach, but to show the love of the Lord Jesus and help vulnerable people. Swindon Street Pastors follow the governance set down by the Ascension Trust, the governing body behind Street Pastors nationally. 

## **Achievements and performance** 

This year the focus was to stabilize the teams and get back to regular patrols and ensure that all team members had the training they needed. 

There was also a focus on ways to improve our income stream in order to be able to fund training and uniforms for more volunteers, so we could run more patrols.

Reserves are held in the current account and are set at two time the previous year’s expenditure, or projected current year’s expenditure if higher. For 2024 that is £5000 

## **Structure, governance and management** 

One trustee stepped down due to family commitments, and it was felt a replacement was not needed. A succession plan was started towards the end of the year to replace the Coordinator as this is a key role within the organisation, as the current Coordinator wished to step down in the near future. 

Regular Trustees meeting were held and minutes kept to ensure the Management,  Financial integrity, Policies, Admin, Training, Improvements for  the NTE volunteers were addressed.
