## **Objectives and activities**
A group of Christian volunteers from various churches across Swindon. Working independently, but with the full support of the Local Authority and the Police, and working closely with security and door staff of the pubs and clubs, we patrol the Town Centre on Friday and Saturday nights. We are not there to preach, but to show the love of the Lord Jesus and help vulnerable people. Swindon Street Pastors follow the governance set down by the Ascension Trust, the governing body behind Street Pastors nationally.
## **Achievements and performance**
The last year has been significant one with the restructuring retraining of the team completed and two patrols per month recommenced post COVID in February.
A recruitment drive was commenced in Q4, which resulted in 5 volunteers commencing the training which is expected to be complete during 2023, enabling us to put out a third team each month.

The trustees have recognised the need to ensure an ongoing income stream in order to

## **Structure, governance and management**
The trustees were registered with the Charities Commission in January, and following a restructure in Q2 a new chair and vice –chair were appointed, to allow the existing chair to step down for a while.
Regular Trustees meeting were held and minutes kept to ensure the Management, Financial integrity, Admin, Training, Improvements for the NTE volunteers were addressed.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination
to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts
