Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Advance Public Education In, And Appreciation Of, The Arts For The Public Benefit Through The Provision Of Financial Support To Museums, Galleries And Educational Establishments Designed To:a) Promote And Raise Public Awareness Of A Wide Range Of Artistic Disciplines – Including But Not Limited To Sculpture, Painting, Antique And Decorative Art, Antiquities, Rare Books, Photography, Watchmaking, Jewellery, And Oceanic And Tribal Art – With A Particular Focus On Niche Or Rare Disciplines And Styles;b) Create Public Exhibitions Of Artworks That Would Not Otherwise Be Seen, For Example, By Arranging For Public Exhibition Of Items In Private Collections Not Generally Open To The Public;c) Increase The Public’s Access To Educational And Research Materials, Whether Physical Or Online, Particularly For The Education Of Children, Those In Rural Or Remote Areas, Or Those From Deprived Backgrounds;d) Promote The Understanding And Practice Of Certain Crafts And Art Restoration Techniques, Such As Weaving, Carpentry, Stonemasonry, Glass Blowing, Gilding, Bookbinding, And Framing;e) Assist In The Purchase And Public Display Of Culturally Or Historically Significant Works, Particularly Those That Are Rare And Of Exceptional Quality.
