TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF ENDANGERED RED SQUIRREL POPULATIONS IN THEIR NATURAL HABITAT IN GRASMERE, CUMBRIA, IN ORDER THAT THEIR PRESENCE CAN CONTINUE TO BE ENJOYED BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND BY FUTURE GENERATIONS.2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF THE RED SQUIRREL, THE THREATS IT FACES AND THE NEED FOR CONSERVATION ACTIVITY TO ENSURE ITS SURVIVAL IN GRASMERE, CUMBRIA.

**Activities:** Grasmere Red Squirrel Group ActivitiesWe conserve red squirrels in the Grasmere area of Cumbria by- feeding and monitoring them using people and cameras- removing sick specimens so they do not spread viruses and diseases- controlling grey squirrels using lawful and humane means- educating the public via leaflets, posters, newsletters, social media and face to face talks
