## Little Paxton Community Pavilion (CIO) Trustees Report 2022 Little Paxton Community Pavilion is a small building providing a kitchenette, meeting room, toilets and two changing rooms and is run as a facility for the surrounding community for meetings and to provide amenities for those using the adjacent playing fields. The pavilion was built in 2013 at a cost of approximately £45000 using grants and donations from various sources. 2022 is the first year that the charity has run as a CIO having converted from Little Paxton Community Pavilion (LPCP) which was run as a charitable trust. Prior to 2022 the main users were the Little Paxton Colts Football Club in the Winter and the Little Paxton Cricket Club in the Summer who between them provide the majority of the trustees. For the 2021/22 Football season the football club ceased to use the Pavilion, and this has had a significant impact on the Pavilion’s income. However, income from the cricket club and a healthy balance sheet has ensured that the CIO is financially self-sufficient. Other income comes from occasional use and regular use by the Parish Council and Paxfest committee for meetings and use during the annual Paxfest event and other events throughout the year on the playing fields. The trustees are hopeful that another user can be found to replace the football club. 2022 also saw a one off cost for legal fees to enact the transfer of the pavilion lease from the trust to the CIO, due to delays at the land-registry this is still in progress.
