durlng the year
Voluntsersl tsam building
The key thanges this year brought for us was hawng a new operational base
at Delta North having outgrown our previous venue. Moving all our stock and
equipment was demanding but has brought wrth it a new group of volunteers.
Help from the community ensured that we were able to ensure that there were
no glrtches in our delivery programme. Having more space, as well as allowing
the facility to pack and store more packs and products, has ensured a rational
leedthrough of packs to the users across all projects.
As a small charlty, having space to display the onwing project requirèments
and achievements has been most beneficial in being able to keep all
volunteers abreast with the work in Fryress and has helped with the
developing the team spirit.
Broadenlng Roach
We have teen able to broaden the area of reach of the charity supplying to a
W￿er range of foodbanks. schools and communty groups.
We have been able to ervJage more young people in the °delivery' of the
charity through engaging them in the packing process

. Packing welltN8ing and care packs
. Delivering packs to recipients and partner organisats'ons
. Administrative V￿rk and paFerwork
. Online and warehouse shoppng for produds
. Shelf packing and stocktaking sessions
• Wrrting funding bids and partnership proposals
All volunteer hours are currently valued at the UK National Minimum Wage for
reporting purposes. provKling a fair and transparent representation of the
charrty's in-kind contnbution. We recognise, however, that some roles
particularty fundraising. bid writing. and coordination require higher18vels of
skill and responsibilty, and we intend to introduce tiered valuation rates in the
coming year to reflect this more accurately.
This systematic recording allows us to show the true scal8 and social value of
our work. ewdencing both communty impacl and the significant non-financial
resources leveraged in wrsurt of our charitable objectives.

packs highly beneficial.
Savings we made from efficient purchases were all reinvested into the projects

Continuous consultstion and paying attention to feedback and reports on the
