ELA mainly works on a referral basis, whereby ELA has a network where
referrals are made on an email or telephone basis by social workers on a
50% referral basis, and the remaining referrals are made by the Police,
Early Irrtervention teams. NHS workers such as mental health nurses and
occupation therapists (the "Referreff). The Referrer provides the details of
the person r4uiring assistance (the 'Service Userf) and their
requirements in respect of the assistance they need. ELA then provides
the Item￿help/aSS1$tanCe requested.

Summary of the objects of the

To promote soaal inclusion for all individuals specifically taking into
account finanaal position and social dass.

ELA held a Chnstmas grotto over the Christmas period to give out toys to
low income families. ELA also provided toys given via donations or toys
bought using donations. to low income families.

eldety individuals who suffer from loneliness.
ELA donated a number of Easter eggs to low income children and
children in hospital wards.
ELA on an ongoing basis buys a number of ttems such as white 9oods,
household items. dothing, food rtems. fumiture for Servios User5
referred by Referrers.
ELA holds small events such as a bingo games for residents of
Berrywood Hosprtal and provided prizes for the Bingo games to help
raise moral of residents and provide entertainment and enjoyment for
residents.
ELA also worked and continues to work on an Allotment Project creating
safe and welcoming space for all in line with their objective to promote
social inclusion. This has been carried out using a grant awarded by
Northamptonshire Communty Foundation.
EL4 donated Greggs surplus food rtems and provides these ft)od items to

ELA won a grant in De￿mber 2022 awarded by the Northamptonshire
Communty Foundation which was for the ELA Allotment Proje
promoting S￿"al inclusion and creating a safe spao.
Some fims have made ELA their nominated charity in respect of
fundraising and donating fijnds to ELA which has enabled ELA to fulfil

Financial review
ELA relies on donations and fundraising and grants to carry out its
objects. The main risk is therefore reduced donations and reduction in
network related fundraising. EL4 aims to ensure that funds never go
below £1,000 and that continued events and ne￿orkIng is carried OLrt to
raise funds to ensure donations and fundraising does not reduce. ELA
continues to work to widen and strengthen its nelwork to further grow tts
fundraising and donations Capa￿ty.
